All tours are dispatched from the resort by High Sonoran Adventures escorts.  We provide an iced cooler with soda and bottled water for transfer to waterside. During the transfer, our escort will brief guests on what to expect during tour, the acknowledgment of risk form & answer questions to prepare the group for a safe FUN adventure.  Raft tours take place on the lower Salt or Verde Rivers. Kayak tours can take place on the lower Salt, Verde or on any of the surrounding desert lakes.  This offers guests a choice in the level of activity they participate in.  Arriving at the waters edge, the scene shouts FUN!  Our colorful rafts and sit-on-top two man kayaks are lined up on the shore.  Lifevests are required and paddle suits and water shoes are available. The lead guide will conduct a safety and skills clinic and the fun begins. On raft tours are in eighteen foot boats with one guide and twelve guests. On guided kayak tours one guide leads the group while others cruise between the guests providing assistanc and advice as needed.  A "sweep" guide brings up the rear.
