This
tour is designed for independent groups who wish to conduct their own adventure
at their
pace. After shoreside instruction
and practice, you are your own guide enjoying this serene
secluded setting on safe and stable
watercraft. We provide the kayaks, paddles, splash gear, life
vests and bottled water. This tour
is great to promote camaraderie and mutual esteem as the
adventure and the river is exclusively
yours. Downstream, your shuttle, sodas and snacks
await for your celebration of accomplishment.

Phoenix
and the Valley of the Sun exist because of one singular phenomenon, two
abundant flowing desert rivers. Prehistoric tribes, the first canal builders
in North America, lived on these shores. Today, great blue herons, kingfishers,
hawks and eagles soar along the cottonwood and saguaro lined shores.
In this majestic land, our guests can
enjoy the comfort of a large raft or learn the thrill of navigating two
man sit-on-top kayaks under the guidance of our experienced guides. After
shoreside instruction and practice, you and your guides embark on this
voyage of discovery on safe and stable watercraft. Guests can expect to

The
Valley of the Sun is fortunate to have a series of desert lakes created
for flood control and water retention. A hub of activity on summer
weekends, these lakes offer a quiet, peaceful desert oasis during the week.
Guests can choose to drift casually along the shoreline or venture into
some hidden shaded coves to explore. Add a beach party with volley
ball and a cook out and you have an afternoon different from any other
tour. |

Woo hoo -- what
a great time!!! The kayaking adventure was phenomenal! It was the
first time I had ever tried it, as was the case with most of the group,
and have since found a new love for the sport. The guides were great,
giving us the tools necessary to stay afloat, and handled a few rescue
missions with incredible dexterity. I appreciated that the guides stopped
the group part of theway through, offering fluffy towels, cold drinks,
and the opportunity to pack it in if we wanted, but I think everyone in
the group continued down the last leg.
We were STOKED! Next time I'm
in Arizona, and I hope it will be soon,
I will join you again for sure!
