My boyfreind Mike, is hiking the
Canyon as I am sitting here writing this. I have never been to it but he has several
times and wants to take me there over New Years Eve. At first, I was very skeptical
about even thinking about trying to hike the monsterous feet, but after looking
at this web site, I have realized that I am actually excited about the trip .
I can't wait until he gets back home so he can tell me all the things that he
endured down there. Thanks for the web site. It has shed new light on something
I was afraid to do, now I am looking forward to. Kelly

Hi denny, had a great time in the
grand canyon. Say hi to Jeff and John. They were terrific guides. They inspired
us to look into adventure racing and of course, moving out west where the athletes
are. (I'm sick of New York City). Working out in that elevation did something
to us. We came home and blew everybody's doors off. tell Jeff the wound is healing
but I think I have to get a tetnus shot, starting to look ugly. Anyway, thanks
again. We really had a great time.

To all of you who plan to visit the
Sonoran Desert, you'd better hurry before it's too late. I moved from AZ to CA
two years ago and returned to visit in early Jan 98. It is all being destroyed
forever in the name of golf. We were not allowed to hike on Pinnacle peak, former
site of the Cactus Cup mtn bike race, because it is now private property. It is
unbelievable and unforgivable how rapidly the desert is disappearing. Sorry for
the bad news. Do something about it!

I produce the Mountain Lines newsletter
every quarter, and I never knew MSLT had a home page. It is beautiful, and a worthy
cause too. One look at the McDowells glowing purple at sunset and you will agree
too. And one look at the recent scare made in the northern end of the range for
upscale housing and golf course, and you will agree that time is of the essence.
Keep up the good work...if not for me, for my kids and their kids.

For donations it would be really
helpful if you would create a page that is a form for donations. This is helpful
for me because I like to print out forms and put them in a folder. then, once
per month, I pull out a form and make a charitable donation. I think you could
increase your donations in this manner!

I would like to know if it's possible
to arrange certain kinds of things. I want to go rafting through the Grand Canyon.
Your site is very beautiful

very nice site, but I wonder why
you don't seem to be doing anything in southeastern Arizona. The Chiricahuas,
whetstones, peloncillos etc. are mighty nice mountains. keep up the good work.

Superb, Wonderful Country. Visited
