We had a great time. Thanks for accommodating our change of plans on
such short notice. Jim was an excellent guide - he did a fine job of judging
our skills and stamina and tailored the pace, length and technical content
of the ride accordingly, so we finished tired and happy! We had a blast.
I have never actually contracted a tour company to lead me on a ride before,
so I don't have any "professional" comparisons to offer. But I have participated
in many group rides through local biking organizations and Jim was as good
as the best ride leaders I've encountered, and much better than the vast
