What is it exactly that makes Arizona a special place? I would argue that it's the stunning variety of climates, scenery and wildlife. Arizona is much more than the sum of its parts. It has a natural dynamic, a synergy matched by few other places. Arizona is another planet, or more precisely, another topography. Everything I love about this state is rooted in the landscape.

Thanks for your note and your photos - they seem quite dreamy as i sit back at my desk gazing out over the industrial estate! The grand canyon suddenly feels like an unreal postcard location again and we were there only a couple of weeks back.

We did enjoy our trip to the canyon as you must have seen - it was a treat to have a guide as we have never had a one-to-one guide before and this put us at ease during the hike as well as being interesting.. It was great to camp out as well on our honeymoon and do say thanks to alicia as well for her help, When we're next 'over the pond' we'll certainly call again whether the canyon or Scottsdale,
